Before Conference
Do I need to stay at the hotel in which the conference is being held?
While not a requirement please know that the organization guarantees a certain number of rooms and must pay a penalty if we are under. It is important to not only book at the hotel but use the group code during booking for us to get the credit. You should also book early and not wait. Just as stated above we have to guarantee a certain number of rooms so there is a possibility that we may run out of rooms at the special rate and/or use an overflow hotel. This could occur prior to any posted cut-off dates.
What is the schedule for the conference and where can I get it?
The class schedule will be in the WHOVA APP and posted under the conference training/activity section or you can follow this link Conference Schedule. If you do not wish to use the APP you can print the schedule from our website at the above link. 2023 Schedule is posted.
What do I do if I registered for the conference but lost my registration email with bar code?
Please email registration@seiaati.org with your name, agency, and email and we will have it resent. We can also verify with an ID at registration.
I want to pay my registation by check, Where do I send it?

I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds after the early-bird cut-off date. If you ask for a refund prior to this and it was for a non-member fee it will only be for the registration portion and not the $55.00 membership fee.
I can no longer attend. Can someone else take my place?
Yes, someone can take your place. They will have to qualify for membership and pay the membership fee if they are not a member. We can not transfer this part of the fee if you paid the non-member rate as your membership is not refundable and has already been processed.

During Conference
Is a companion or family program offered?
We no longer offer a program due to the expense and lack of interest. This could be changed year to year and the expense would be actual costs. Obviously, you can bring your family to the hotel, but conference events are limited to the attendees. We do allow spouses to attend the banquet. Additional banquet tickets are available for purchase.
Sunday, there is a reception providing light refreshments (not considered a meal)
Monday night, we will have a BBQ dinner.
Wednesday night, we have a dinner banquet.
Snacks are provided during breaks.
Is breakfast, lunch, or dinner provided during the conference?
For the 2024 Conference in Orlando, FL, 1 breakfast coupon is included per room in the block.

What is the dress code for the banquet?
The banquet is semi-formal but could change to meet the style of the area and time of year. As long as your are dressed appropriately you will not be turned away.
What is the dress code for classes?
We try to keep with a professional atmosphere. We recommend business casual.
What is the dress code for the President's reception/BBQ/other evetns?
These events will usually be casual, but there could be events that require something different. We will place this on the website with the event info if it is something other than casual.
Are name badges required for events?
Yes, they are important for several reasons. It makes it easier for networking purposes, and they are required by SEC SOP
